The Foundation is organized exclusively for educational purposes, more specifically to provide nursing scholarships.  This scholarship organization was founded as a memorial to Catherine Boyd Spell, who was a dedicated nurse and a remarkable ambassador to the nursing profession.  Her tireless dedication as a patient advocate inspired the inception of this Foundation to continue her legacy and provide outstanding nursing students with scholarship opportunities.
